High voltage,delivered without surprises.

Every megawatt on the record left its plant through a switchyard. Belgineer manages substations, gas-insulated switchgear and overhead lines from 36 kV up to 400 kV.

01The backbone of every project

Transmission work runs under the strictest rules on any energy project: utility specifications, protection coordination, outage windows on a live network and acceptance by the transmission operator. A missed outage window can cost months.

Levent Belgin began his career testing a 380 kV switchyard at the Ambarlı combined-cycle plant, delivered 380 kV and 154 kV switchyard work for TEİAŞ at İkitelli, Çerkezköy, Ambarlı and Hamitabat, and more recently led the 400 kV TEİAŞ Tarsus OSB substation (380/154/33 kV) and the Selimiye 154/36 kV GIS as EMTA’s deputy general manager for HV projects.

02What we deliver
  1. 01

    AIS & GIS substations

Air- and gas-insulated substations up to 400 kV: design review, specification, supply and erection.

  2. 02

    Switchyard extensions

New feeders and breaker renewals in live switchyards, planned around utility outage windows.

  3. 03

    Overhead lines

154 kV lines connecting generation to the grid, including routing interfaces and civil works.

  4. 04

    Protection & control

Relay settings coordination, control systems and SCADA integration with the grid operator.

  5. 05

    Testing & energisation

Primary and secondary injection testing, witnessed acceptance and energisation.

  6. 06

    Warranty-period management

Defect resolution and contractual close-out through the warranty period.

03How we de-risk it
  1. 01

    Read the utility spec first

Operator requirements drive design and procurement from the outset.

  2. 02

    Plan the outages

Work on live networks is sequenced around confirmed outage windows.

  3. 03

    Test everything twice

Factory and site tests are witnessed and documented before energisation.

  4. 04

    Protect the margin

Contracts, variations and scope additions are managed to keep the project profitable.

05Questions, answered

What is the difference between AIS and GIS substations?

Air-insulated substations use open-air equipment and need more space; gas-insulated substations enclose switchgear in SF6 or alternative gas, allowing compact layouts in urban or constrained sites.

Do you work on TEİAŞ projects?

Yes. The record includes TEİAŞ switchyards and substations at İkitelli, Çerkezköy, Ambarlı, Hayrat, Selimiye and Tarsus OSB.

Can Belgineer take over a delayed substation project?

Yes. At EMTA, takeover HV projects were renegotiated and re-planned, cutting final cost projections by more than 50% and accelerating delivery by two years.

Which voltage levels do you cover?

From medium voltage (36 kV) through 154 kV to 380/400 kV transmission substations.
