Combined-cycle plants and gas infrastructure are dense, high-energy facilities: gas and steam turbines, heat recovery, high-voltage evacuation and extensive control systems, all under strict safety regimes. The electrical and control scope alone can involve thousands of interfaces.
The record spans the full arc: commissioning the 1,350 MWe Ambarlı combined-cycle plant for Siemens AG; EBoP engineering, design and supply for five combined-cycle plants in Iraq totalling 3,990 MWe (Taza, Rumaila, Baiji 1 & 2 and Nasiriyah); switchyards for the Acarsoy, Hamitabat and Çerkezköy plants; upgrades of seven 25 MWe FT8 MobilePac mobile power stations for EÜAŞ; and the BOTAŞ Silivri offshore underground natural gas storage project.

What is a combined-cycle power plant (CCPP)?
A CCPP burns gas in a gas turbine and uses the hot exhaust to raise steam for a steam turbine, producing more electricity from the same fuel than either cycle alone.
What was the Iraq-5PP project?
Electrical balance of plant engineering, design and material supply for five combined-cycle plants in Iraq — Taza, Rumaila, Baiji 1 & 2 and Nasiriyah — totalling 3,990 MWe, delivered while Levent Belgin was a project manager at Siemens Power Generation.
